About Pocketa

Kitchen renovations are complicated. The project record should not be.

Pocketa started because kitchen renovations scatter across spreadsheets, retailer planners, emails, screenshots and notes. Those tools help with one slice of the job, but they leave the homeowner without one place to run the whole project.

Create projects, run checklists, claim partner savings and source with live partners today. Payment stays with retailers and suppliers. Suitable suppliers can apply at For suppliers.

Free for UK homeowners. No credit card required.

Who is behind Pocketa

Pocketa is built by Taz, who started it after seeing kitchen renovations scatter across tools that each solve only part of the job. The aim is a project record the homeowner controls: work, products, purchases and costs in one place, even when several suppliers and trades are involved.

Buy wherever makes sense. Partner routes fund the free workspace when purchases go that way, but outside purchases stay in the same record. The partner link does not add a Pocketa fee.

Improvements focus on making the messy middle clearer: setup that builds a starting plan, spending that separates planned from actual, and partner savings that appear when they are useful, not as a shopping wall.

Why Pocketa exists

Built for the messy middle of renovation

Spreadsheets can hold numbers, and retailer planners are often strongest for one showroom range. A real kitchen project usually involves several suppliers, trades and decisions at once. Scattered records become one clear project when planning, products, purchases, costs and partner savings sit together.

A kitchen renovation is not only a design or shopping exercise. It is also a sourcing, sequencing and tracking challenge: the messy middle where homeowners need a calmer place to see what may still apply, what is already sorted and what should be confirmed with a fitter or supplier before purchase.

Problem focus

The problem we are focused on

These tensions show up in many projects. Your own list may differ, and specialist requirements should always be checked with a qualified professional where regulations may apply.

  • Focus

    Too many suppliers

Kitchen projects pull quotes, ranges and lead times from different channels. Without one record it is harder to compare honestly or keep decisions aligned.

  • Focus

    Confusing terminology

Specifications and compatibility language can stay opaque until you are mid project. Clearer categories and next steps reduce time lost decoding brochures alone.

  • Focus

    Missing parts and small kits

Hinges, waste kits, fillers, trims and sealants surface late when they are not visible early. A structured list makes handover to trades simpler if you confirm fit on site.

  • Focus

    Cost uncertainty

Scope, product level and timing all move numbers. Seeing planned spending alongside categories and purchases helps you compare and record decisions whether you are ahead of the next purchase or catching up mid-project.

  • Focus

    Trade sequencing

Trades often need answers before every product is locked. A shared project record makes sequencing and dependencies easier to explain on site.

  • Focus

    Compatibility and long lead times

Appliances, cabinets and services interact. Lead times shift what you can order when, keeping compatibility notes and dates in one place reduces costly rework.

What Pocketa helps with

One guided place for the renovation record

Pocketa connects structure, sequence and control in one homeowner workspace, so you can keep the project moving without replacing on-site expertise.

  • Project setup

Signed-in homeowners answer setup questions and generate an editable starter checklist shaped by those answers, then browse sourcing by category where catalogue content is published.

  • Checklist structure

Categories, tasks and records start from what commonly applies, then adapt with your edits and project updates.

  • Product category organisation

Product areas such as cabinets, worktops and appliances are grouped so you can see what is still in play.

  • Bought elsewhere tracking

Items purchased outside Pocketa sit in the project record so the picture stays honest to how you buy.

  • Partner discounts and supplier journeys

Claim live partner savings from Current offers and Partner directory. Where suppliers are live, homeowners may continue on supplier websites, request quotes, book consultation-first journeys or ask for samples when those routes are offered.

  • Project records

Notes, saved links, partner discounts and delivery details sit alongside purchases so the renovation story stays in one place.

What makes Pocketa different

Pocketa stays useful when you buy elsewhere. The aim is a project record that reflects real decisions, not only purchases that pass through a single checkout. You should still compare prices, read supplier terms and confirm fit and suitability before you commit.

What you can do today

Signed-in homeowners can create projects and manage getting the kitchen in from the Workspace sidebar. Surfaces are Overview, Manage your renovation, Finishing touches, Saved products, Spending and Activity. Setup and Sourcing remain available from Overview when needed. Current offers and Partner directory sit under Sourcing & deals so partner savings stay beside the project. Where suppliers are live, the workspace supports continuing on supplier websites, quote requests, optional samples and consultation-first journeys. Payment stays with the retailer or supplier. Suitable suppliers can submit the full application at For suppliers; review and listing stay manual.
