How it works

Plan it. Source it. Build it.

How Pocketa helps you plan your renovation

Pocketa works by giving homeowners a structured place to organise kitchen renovation information at whatever stage they are in. You can create a project, answer practical questions, generate a checklist and keep important notes or decisions together.

Pocketa helps homeowners bring kitchen renovation ideas, decisions, checklists and project details into one structured workspace, whether you are planning ahead or already mid-project and realising how many moving parts there are.

Catch up mid-project or plan ahead: structure sourcing, keep decisions and records together at a pace that suits you, without showroom-only promises.

Signed-in users can create projects, manage checklists and use sourcing in the workspace. Where suppliers are live, homeowners may follow checkout handoffs on supplier sites, request quotes, book consultation-first journeys or ask for samples where configured. Catalogue coverage is not comprehensive yet. There is no Pocketa checkout and no supplier self-service portal. The workspace includes category browse, saved catalogue items, quote requests where supported, private sourcing link saves, and bought elsewhere checklist records for purchases outside the catalogue. Pocketa does not handle checkout, delivery or returns.

Free for UK homeowners. Follow supplier links or request quotes where offered, or add items bought elsewhere.

Turn setup answers into a working project record

Overview of kitchen renovation process stages
  1. Answer setup questions in minutes

Tell Pocketa where you are in the renovation, what you may already have sorted and which product areas still need attention.

  2. Get a starting checklist you can edit

Pocketa creates a structured checklist of categories that may apply to your kitchen project. You can edit it, hide what is not relevant and return to it later.

  3. Source the products your project needs

Browse sourcing by category in your workspace, save items where listed, follow supplier checkout handoffs or request quotes where offered, and keep notes. Payment happens on retailer or supplier sites, not in Pocketa.

  4. Add purchases from elsewhere

Log a bought elsewhere record on your checklist with supplier, link, delivery and text notes for receipts or warranties. While browsing, you can save a private sourcing link to your project first; that lighter note is not the same as a checklist record.

  5. Track progress with clear next steps

Use statuses, notes and saved records to see what is sorted, what still needs attention and what may need checking with the right person.

Start from scratch, or join midway through

Renovation rarely happens in one sitting. You might be planning early, comparing suppliers, waiting for deliveries or already fitting out the room. Pocketa is designed to help you organise the project from wherever you join the journey.

  • Collage of kitchen planning sketches and notes

    Earlier in the project

Useful when you still have time to shape categories before purchases ramp up, not required; many people start later.

  • Ordering checklist in a project notebook

    Mid project

Useful when some items are already chosen and you want to focus on what is missing.

  • Procurement schedule collage across suppliers

    Bought elsewhere

Useful when purchases are spread across different retailers, suppliers and conversations.

Pocketa helps with kitchen renovation planning and organisation. Confirm measurements, suitability and specialist requirements with the right person before ordering or fitting.

User freedom

You do not have to buy everything through Pocketa

Pocketa is built around the reality of renovation. Some items may come through participating suppliers, while others may be bought elsewhere. You can still keep those products in your project record so your checklist, receipts, notes and delivery details stay connected.

Free for homeowners, transparent about commissions

Pocketa is free for homeowners. We may earn a modest commission or fee when you follow an approved partner or affiliate link, or when a curated supplier values a qualified quote enquiry. Amounts and terms vary by route, partner and product category; Pocketa does not checkout for you and does not rank options by commission. You can always compare prices, request quotes where offered, and buy elsewhere.

You are always free to compare prices, buy elsewhere and add those purchases to your project.

Kitchen renovations involve trade-offs between budget, timing and finish level. Pocketa helps you organise choices and records; it does not promise a perfect outcome at every price point or replace each supplier's responsibility for their listing, price and delivery.

Plain language matters here so you can plan with confidence, not confusion.

Answer a few practical questions about where you are in the renovation, early, mid-project or further along.

Many people arrive while a renovation is already underway, when quotes, deliveries and small parts surface faster than expected. Others begin earlier. Most are reactive rather than fully organised in advance, and that is normal.
