Supplier application terms
These terms govern the full supplier application submitted to Pocketa. When an authorised representative checks the required acknowledgements and submits the application, the applicant agrees to this version of the intake terms.
These application-stage rules are intended to govern supplier intake. They have not been approved by qualified counsel and do not approve the applicant, create a partnership, activate a supplier route or replace the separate written supplier agreement required before commercial activation.

Application terms are not the final supplier contract
Pocketa records acceptance of these intake terms. The product does not generate or sign the later supplier agreement. Commercial activation requires a separate external contract checkpoint, internal setup and live-readiness review.
1. Scope and acceptance
These terms apply to the detailed supplier application, its required acknowledgements, information requested during review and secure product-data or quote-detail uploads Pocketa later invites for that application. They apply alongside the Terms of use and Privacy policy.
Starting an application or verifying an email address does not accept the full application terms. Acceptance occurs when the authorised representative submits the detailed application with every required acknowledgement. Pocketa stores the terms version and acceptance record with the application.
2. Application and approval stages
Application review is manual and capacity-limited. The stages have different legal and operational effects:
- Application submitted: Pocketa records the accepted terms version and the application acknowledgements. Submission creates an application for review, not a partnership.
- Manual review: Pocketa may request information, pause review or reject the application. There is no guaranteed response time, approval, listing, traffic, enquiry or sale.
- External written agreement: If both sides wish to proceed, a separate supplier agreement must be signed or formally accepted outside the application flow.
- Setup and live review: Contract completion does not publish content automatically. Product data, hidden setup, readiness checks and an explicit live decision remain separate.
Pocketa controls its editorial standards, application capacity, participation routes and live-readiness decisions. It may request more information, pause or reject an application, and edit, hide or remove submitted content that is inaccurate, unlawful, non-compliant, technically unsuitable or inconsistent with published policy. Those controls do not permit unlawful discrimination or remove duties imposed by law.
3. Applicant authority and information accuracy
The person submitting confirms that they are authorised to act for the applicant named in the form. The applicant confirms that information supplied is accurate and not misleading to the best of its knowledge at submission.
- Be authorised to apply for the named business
- Provide accurate legal, contact, service-area, category, pricing-model and fulfilment information to the best of your knowledge
- Correct material changes or errors identified while the application remains under review
- Hold the rights and permissions needed for submitted product data, trade marks, copy, documents and images
- Describe who sells, takes payment, fulfils, handles delivery, cancellations, returns and warranties
- Avoid uploading bank details, card data, signed contracts or confidential pricing files unless Pocketa requests them through an agreed secure route
A company number and VAT number are collected only where supplied or applicable; Pocketa does not claim that every applicant must be a limited company or VAT registered. Deliberate or material misrepresentation may lead to a request for correction, paused review, rejection, hidden content or removal. Pocketa does not promise permanent exclusion for every error.
4. No guaranteed intake or commercial outcome
Submitting an application does not mean the business is accepted, integrated, listed, ranked, activated or included in a capability page or homeowner workspace. It does not guarantee a response deadline, catalogue presence, category coverage, quote request, consultation, sample request, traffic, lead, sale, revenue or minimum term.
Each applicant bears its own costs of preparing the application and responding to review requests unless Pocketa agrees otherwise in writing. Do not purchase integration work, prepare a bespoke feed or rely on forecast volume before a separate written agreement and readiness plan exist.
5. Commercial terms and ordering integrity
Application questions may cover catalogue commission, quote-referral commission, category links and other proposed models. Where fees apply, terms can vary by partner, route and kitchen product category rather than using one flat percentage on every line. The application acknowledgements are not an agreed rate card. Applicants may request discussion of different terms.
Exact commission, attribution, reporting, invoicing, settlement, anti-circumvention, service expectations and termination provisions are agreed in the separate written supplier agreement if onboarding proceeds. They are not automatically an SLA and are not created by submitting the application.
Commission is not a catalogue sort key. Current product lists are alphabetical by name and category indexes use editorial display order followed by name. Supplier and route visibility can still depend on approval, category relevance, coverage, public-readiness controls, operational eligibility and the existence of an agreed commercial route. A supplier cannot buy a preferred product-list position by offering a higher commission.
6. Product information, rights and publication
If Pocketa requests product data, images, documents or quote information after review, the applicant confirms that it has the rights and permissions needed to provide them and permit Pocketa to review, validate, format, resize, map, edit and, only after approval and readiness checks, publish relevant material within the agreed route.
The applicant remains responsible for source accuracy, product suitability, compliance information, prices, VAT treatment, availability, lead times, fulfilment, safety statements and intellectual-property rights. Pocketa may edit presentation for consistency but does not assume the supplier's responsibility for the underlying claim. Uploading content does not guarantee publication.
7. Homeowner information and data roles
Application approval does not provide general access to homeowner data. Data flow begins only through a supported route a homeowner deliberately submits, subject to that route's access and consent controls.
Before a homeowner request
An applicant or supplier does not receive default access to homeowner workspace history, project spending, checklist records or sourcing activity. Application review itself provides no homeowner visibility.
At an explicit supported route
A configured quote, consultation, sample or related route can send the contact, project, requirement, answer and limited file information shown to the homeowner before submission.
After receipt
The receiving supplier must secure the information, use it only for the requested route and compatible legal purposes, respect applicable rights and retention duties, and not use access to infer or seek unrelated workspace history.
Pocketa and a supplier may each act as a controller for processing they determine, or another role may apply to a specific service. These application terms do not declare every future route a universal independent-controller arrangement. The separate supplier agreement and route documentation must allocate roles where required.
An approved supplier must comply with applicable data-protection and electronic communications law, provide its own required privacy information, restrict access, use reasonable security, honour applicable rights, keep data only as long as lawfully needed and report a relevant security or misdirected-sharing concern promptly through the agreed Pocketa route.
8. Homeowner contracts and supplier responsibility
Unless a later written agreement expressly says otherwise, the supplier remains the seller or service provider for its homeowner contract and is responsible for its descriptions, advice, designs, surveys, prices, stock, product compliance, payment, fulfilment, delivery, installation, cancellations, returns, warranties, complaints and consumer-law duties.
Pocketa's workspace, introduction, attribution or request-routing service does not make Pocketa a party to that contract or transfer the supplier's duties to Pocketa. These application terms do not impose the proposed blanket indemnity. Any proportionate indemnities, insurance requirements and liability allocation must be reviewed and stated in the separate supplier agreement.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. Pocketa remains responsible for its own legal duties and service.
9. Withdrawal, rejection and termination boundaries
An applicant may ask to withdraw an application through the supplier contact route. Pocketa may pause or reject review, subject to applicable law. Withdrawal or rejection does not require Pocketa to erase audit, security, communication or legal records that must be retained under the Privacy policy.
There is no live supplier relationship to terminate at application stage. If a separate supplier agreement is later completed, its suspension, notice, termination, outstanding-payment, data-return and post-termination provisions govern that relationship.
10. Governing law and changes
These application terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rule that applies to the applicant or dispute.
The accepted version remains attached to the submitted application. Pocketa may publish a later version for new applications. If a material change becomes relevant to an application still in review, Pocketa may require the applicant to review and accept the newer version before proceeding.
11. Contact
For an application, withdrawal, data-sharing or terms question, use Contact or the partner-support route on For suppliers. Do not send passwords, payment-card data or unnecessary confidential information.
